So, what’s next for The Faithful Traveler?
This weekend and next Tuesday, we’ll be filming at Newark, New Jersey’s blow-your-mind-amazing Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Check out my photos on this amazing cathedral here. Saturday, we’ll be filming the priestly ordinations for some awesome B-Roll. We’ve never been to a priestly ordination before, so we’re very excited!! And then on Tuesday, we get to interview Archbishop John J. Myers!! We’ve not interviewed an archbishop yet, either, so this will be a very exciting shoot.
After that, we’ll be back in New York City on June 5th, filming at St Peter’s Catholic Church, near Ground Zero. This was the first Catholic church in the city of New York, and it’s also where St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was received into the church after her conversion. Very exciting! Then, we venture to Baltimore, to film St. Alphonsus Church, where St. John Neumann was pastor before he came to Philadelphia. Later, we’ll film the fantastic Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore, as well.
There’s loads on our docket, and we’re just having a blast. Please, as always, keep us in your prayers!
