Next weekend, we resume shooting for Season 1 at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in New York City. After a few weeks of writing scripts, it’ll be a change to get back to getting ready for a shoot. Lines need to be memorized in both English and Spanish, and then we need to plan out the logistics.
Fortunately, the City of New York no longer requires that anyone who shoots in the city have $1 million (yes, I said $1 million) worth of insurance. As long as your equipment is portable, which ours is, we can do whatever we want, as long as we don’t shoot on private property without permission. So, that’s nice.
We’ll have a helper on our shoot this time—my brother-in-law will be helping us, acting as a grip/PA of sorts. It’ll be nice to have someone else along for the ride.
There’s so much to tell about St. Elizabeth Ann’s life. I hope we can get it all so it’s entertaining and informative. Please keep us in your prayers this week, and pray for good weather!!
